Scholarship applications for 2022 will be open starting Feb. 1 until April 15. Available scholarships include:

The Bernita Adkins Scholarship, in memory of the former Portage High School physical education teacher, will go to a student-athlete entering the field of education.

The Bill Bodnar Scholarship, in memory of the former Portage High School teacher and director of plays and musicals Bill Bodnar, will go to a senior thespian student.

The Marilyn Olson Scholarship is awarded in memory of teacher Marilyn Olson. Preference is given to students entering the field of education.

The Maurice Palmer Avery Scholarship is awarded in memory of the Portage alumnus. Applicant must be in the upper third of graduating class attending a four-year college and pursuing a degree in liberal arts, mathematics or science.

The Mike Jennings Scholarship is awarded in memory of the former Portage Township School administrator. No specific requirements.

The NIPSCO Scholarship is funded by NIPSCO's donation to Portage High School Dollars for Scholars. No specific requirements.

The Stacy McKay Scholarship is awarded in memory of Portage High School alumna Stacy McKay. No specific requirements.

The Vocational/Technical Scholarship is awarded to students who plan to obtain a vocational or technical degree.

Eleven general scholarships are provided by Portage High School Dollars for Scholars with no specific requirements.
